I know you’re tired of hearing about this one. I’ve been trying to hit 100 pounds lost for 2 or 3 weeks now. I think my body is finally adjusting to the workouts. Thanks for all of the encouragement! Only 16.7 pounds until my goal of 225.
This story is very eye opening. Everybody needs to evaluate their current level of sugar intake—and NOT replace it with artificial sweetener. The following two quotes stuck out to me:
Americans consume on average more than 600 calories per day from added sugar, equivalent to a whopping 40 teaspoons.
Notice that says added sugar. The second:

Several people have asked, so I thought I would write a quick post and share several tools that I use at the gym. These things are very helpful to tracking all of my health related stats.
I was looking for a good “before” shot to at least try to see what I looked like at my heaviest. This picture was taken April 2, 2011. I started trying to lose weight about 7 weeks after this was taken, so I should be pretty close to my heaviest in this picture.
